Did you know that on average commercial washer in a laundromat takes 2 gallons of water per rated capacity per 1 cycle, like for example your 35lb washer consumes about 70 gallons of water per one cycle (plus another 5-7 gallons absorbed by clothes)! Thats roughly 130,000 gallons of water per year per one machine (taken 5 turns a day). According to 2012 water rates this one machine costs you roughly $550/year. With proper upgrade and tuning you could save 60,000 gallons of it! Thats $254/year per one machine! And that is without affecting the quality of the wash (no soap left), without noticeable changes in operation of the washer (no skipping!) and for the reasonable cost that is guaranteed to pay off within the first year of operation!
For the past years water not only has skyrocketed in price, it is expected to rise even more because water system needs repairs worth of a trillion dollars according to American Water Works Association. (Read article: More bad news: US water bills to triple… ) You found yourself in the right place to learn how to conserve up to 55% of your water consumption, save energy used to deliver it, help to make the planet greener, your Laundromat more efficient and your utility expenses lower.

The changes done to the equipment do not affect neither the operation stability of washers nor quality of wash, giving Laundromat owners complete flexibility in their pricing. After the tune up the only change of the way the washer works is reflected on the water meter and consequently on the water bill. The cycle time stays the same, unless you want to change it, the soap is washed out from both pre-wash and wash compartments, softener is washed out from the rinse box and clothes come out as clean as before. On timer operated washers the timer dial moves in its ordinary fashion without advances, on computer operated washers – the programming capabilities stay untouched. The majority of people will not even notice the change after the work done with the washers.
